To our patients,

To our valued patients:
We happy to announce that we can begin welcoming you back to our practice!  We will resume normal hours beginning Friday, May 8, 2020.
The past several weeks have been challenging times. During the mandated shut down of our practice, we want you to know that we have been thinking of you. We are honored to be a part of this community. We have worked tirelessly to keep up to date on the evolving mandates and legislation. We have also worked diligently to attain needed protective equipment and create new guidelines to protect your health and safety as we welcome you back through the doors at Aspenwood Dental.

Local officials have given us approval to begin reopening our practice with some restrictions. On May 8th, we will begin seeing non-emergency patients for dental and dental hygiene visits. We will start with a limited number of doctors and hygienists each day.

We will begin contacting patients whose appointments were cancelled due to the pandemic. For the patients who are currently scheduled, we will be calling to confirm these appointments. Your appointment times may need to be adjusted to accommodate new safety guidelines. We would like to ask for your continued patience and understanding while we meet the challenges of a new system.

If you had a hygiene appointment that was cancelled due to the pandemic, we will be calling you in the next several weeks to reschedule missed appointments. You do not need to call us to reschedule these appointments. We are working to add additional hours and staffing to accommodate all individuals whose previous appointments were missed due to the closure.

The doctors and team will continue to take universal precautions as outlined by the CDC and OSHA. This is not something new to our office, but rather we are implementing added precautions in this unprecedented time. Your safety and the safety of our team is of the upmost importance to us. These are some of the extended measures we will be taking during phase one of reopening our office:

o Anyone coming into the office is required to wear a face mask.

o You will be asked COVID-19 screening questions upon confirmation. It is important that you answer these questions when confirming your appointment.

o When you arrive for your appointment, we will have a team member to greet you and perform a screening. If the greeter is not present when you arrive, please call us at (303)751-3321 to check in upon arrival.

o Family members and drivers will not be allowed in the reception area or treatment rooms. If you will be accompanying a patient to our office, please plan to wait in your vehicle. In the case of a minor, one parent will be allowed to escort them into the office. Any escort will need to wear a mask at all times and will have a temperature check.

o We ask that current patients arrive 15 minutes prior to their appointed time and new patients arrive 25 minutes prior to their appointed time. There will be longer check in times since these protocols are new to everyone.

o Upon arrival and check-in, every person entering the office will have a temperature check. Anyone with a temperature above established guidelines will be rescheduled. Anyone with fever, cough or other cold-flu or symptoms will be asked to reschedule. Please DO NOT come to the office with these symptoms. We will be unable to see you.

o After entering the office, you will be escorted to a treatment room, we will provide hand sanitizer and an anti-microbial mouth rinse. You must continue to wear a mask until ready for treatment.

We understand these precautions can be frustrating and time-consuming, but we are doing everything in our power to gradually re-open our office while maintaining the strictest health and safety measures to protect our patients, their families, our team and the community. Thank you for your patience, support and understanding during this time.

We look forward to seeing you!

The Drs. Augustine, Zeppelin, Yaros, Sun and the entire team at Aspenwood Dental
